Little Johnny is playing in Hamilton this Friday, Friday, Friday, June 29th.

The game takes place at 7:30pm at Bernie Arbour Stadium, admission is 5$ or really smooth talking (ask Rob and Gayle about that one).

Celebrities like Dan Postma and Laura Stewart will be there.

Blog stalkers, this a great time for you to tear yourself away from your computers and come mingle with real people. 2nd floor at 777 this applies to you!

Last week's game boasted the tossing of 2 Hamilton managers and one Hamilton pitcher; Kitchener stealing home; a baby in a Red Sox outfit; prizes for the best dancer; a lot of peanuts and a great night of ball!

A lovely young thing is lending me her digi cam from Wednesday night through to Monday or Tuesday. I feel my blog will reap many benefits from this. Some events that will/should be captured in this time period may include: Thursday's ball game, Dave and Brittany's wedding, a gathering of some amazing friends, dinner with a friend I haven't seen since the summer of '01 (Facebook brought us back together, awww) and me kissing Fergie Jenkins at John's home game on Sunday night, plus any other hijinx I can get myself into.

When I play baseball I like to get dirty. I don't feel satisfied if I come home clean. Sometimes, I try to break up a double play even when I know that the players involved aren't capable of completing one without the visible help of the Holy Spirit, just to get dirty. I was looking at this and this. And it lead me to believe there will be a lot of this. Because there would be so much of it, I will likely not be doing a lot of this. Well, actually, I'll probably try and write some papers and do some cleaning. BUT, cleaning and papers do not get me any of this. I need that to pay for everything. So if you have any little things while it is doing this that could make me some of this, then give me a this.

Breaking Up Is Hard To...No, Wait, Remarkably Easy To Do

So I forgot to update you guys on something. I quit A&W last week Friday. So I'm down to one job. And thats ok.

I quit for a number of reasons. One is that I'm getting enough hours gardening that I'm doing ok. Another was that I just physically couldn't do that many hours on my feet in a day or really the gardening day, a quick turn around and then a fast food shift. It left me no time for me, or really for anything. So upon the sage advice of a trusted friend, I quit.

I thought quitting would be hard and I had about 5000 reasons prepared along with my letter of resignation (A&W requires one week written notice for quitting). I was scheduled to work on Friday night, so I got ready, printed my letter and went. I got there a few minutes early in order to talk to my boss.

He saw my letter, asked me why I was quitting, then read the letter and realized why. And then asked my I hadn't quit be phone. He sent me home as I was still training and they didn't need me and because they hadn't made the schedule for the next week, I didn't have to worry about that either. So instead of working a week of awkwardness, I went home and made super. Yes.

There, now you know. And as G.I Joe says, "knowing is half the battle."
