I just really feel that I have a serious need for a Sugar Daddy, or really a hard core committed Sugar Momma. Though Daddy just seems more natural. And I think I have brought this subject up more than once.
I was just thinking about how I'm singing in front of a bunch of people tonight and would love to look nice. But due to weight fluctuations and budgetary matters, well I have a hole in my wardrobe called Fall/Winter dress clothes. If only I could attract the sugar like my brother does. He attracted generous Sugar that liked Banana Republic. Yeah... that's good Sugar.
Whatever, I'm Western and gr/n-eedy. (But for reals, if there's going to hors d'oeuvres and a keynote, I should look nice.)

Help! I Need Some Bodies! (And Some Cars, Oh And A Truck...)
Dear people who love me,
I love you too.
Guess what? I have an idea for how you can put your love into action! I am moving on August 1. That is one week from now! Hooray! Oh wait, moving sucks. But no, moving doesn't suck (so much) when you have a bunch of your friends to help you and then you fill your faces with pizza afterwards. (Are ya with me?)
Mostly what I need is people and vehicles. I'd like to do this is one shuh-bang - ie take everything over from one apartment to the other at once. So we all come to my place on Wednesday after work, we fill cars (and one truck, i need one truck, or a van...anyone?) with most of my earthly belongings and then we truck them up to my new place (10min drive) and drop them there. I will do all the work after that. But me, my back and my Honda Civic can't handle the rest.
So what says you? Honestly, with enough people and vehicles it shouldn't take a crazy long time. The biggest piece of furniture I have is a desk (my bed comes fully apart, there's a dresser and two practically cardboard ikea bookshelves). Let me know if you're in and then I'll coordinate things via email - like what time people are done work/when we can get this party started.
Thank you. I promise I love you for more than your muscles (as long as you love me for more than my neediness and pizza),
Laura

Woooooooooooo! = We Are the Champions!
Well it wasn't nearly the goliath game that last week's was, but once again Blue (aka the Lions) pulled off a championship win in the bottom of the seventh. We had to fight against some of the strangest umping I've been privy too (eg - after Tammy and Bun ended up in eachother's arms following an infield fly he yelled at them to stop having sex on the field - he called me out after a close slide at third base, even though it quickly became obvious that the third basement dropped the ball [he reached down to pick up the ball with his bare hand] - he kept joking around about fair and foul balls; at one point our coach parked one over the fence, foul and the ump, thinking he was funny, called it fair), some rust on a few players after some downtime and the falling temperature. But we did it. Joel Bootsma hit in the winning run and it was glorious; a magnificent way to cap off my return to softball!

(l-r) Back Row: Tim, Gary, Trish
Middle: Dan, Bun, Jon, Daryl, Caren, Joel
Front: Tammy, Mitchel, Laura
Absent: Rich (stupid night class, grumble, second masters...)

We got 2 medals! One for winning the season and one for winning the championship!

I won the "Reach Forth Slopitch Sportsmanship & Deadication Award 2006"
